Rail Heightening Pad

Rail Heightening Pads are employed in rail fastening systems to correct vertical track geometry. Inserted between the rail base and the underlying support structure, these Rail Heightening Pads provide incremental height adjustments that restore the line's horizontal reference plane to design tolerance.

Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) via injection or extrusion molding, the material offers a balance of compressive strength and dimensional stability under sustained track loading. Surface hardness exceeds 40 Shore D, ensuring adequate resistance to indentation and creep during service life. Shims are available in a range of thickness increments to accommodate site-specific lift requirements, facilitating rapid and precise leveling adjustments during both initial installation and ongoing track maintenance operations.

Custom Engineering for Rail Heightening Pad

    Application-Specific Design Support
For lines with demanding vibration and noise control requirements, our engineering team offers direct consultation. The group comprises over 30 specialists, each with three decades or more of hands-on involvement in rail-borne vibration mitigation and acoustic attenuation. This depth of expertise enables us to formulate pad geometries, compound selections, and stiffness profiles that respond directly to your track environment and loading patterns.

    In-House Tooling Manufacture
Where custom geometry or performance specifications are required, our internal mold fabrication workshop provides a significant operational advantage. With an annual tooling output exceeding 300 units, the facility is equipped and staffed specifically to support rapid development cycles for tailored elastic rail pads and resilient rail pads.

    about
    Control over Quality and Timeline
Managing mold production in-house ensures full oversight of dimensional precision, surface finish, and functional integrity. It also eliminates the scheduling uncertainties and coordination overhead typically associated with third-party toolmakers. This integrated approach preserves additional lead-time margin during the project initiation phase, resulting in a more predictable delivery schedule and reduced early-stage risk exposure.
