Safety Campaign Drives Risk Awareness Across Plant Operations

2026-06-25

Changmei Technology’s ongoing safety initiatives, launched during the 25th National Safety Month in June, have moved into full implementation with a combination of awareness-building and hands-on hazard identification. This year’s theme—“Everyone Promotes Safety, Everyone Knows Emergency Response—Identify and Rectify Risks”—has guided a series of coordinated activities designed to shift safety practices from compliance exercise to daily habit.

Visual reminders now line the main corridors and shop floors: banners, posters, and handouts distributed to every workgroup. The company also held two dedicated training sessions in June. The executive vice president led a morning meeting for department heads on safety accountability and decision-making frameworks, while the environmental health and safety engineer ran separate workshops for line operators covering equipment-specific procedures and summer-specific precautions such as heat stress and electrical overload.

On the inspection front, the executive VP personally headed a plant-wide walkthrough covering production areas, storage zones, and auxiliary facilities. The inspection team logged findings and tracked each item through a closed-loop correction system—identification, assignment, fix, and verification. Complementing the formal audit, the company launched a “snap and report” campaign encouraging employees to photograph potential hazards with their phones and submit them through a dedicated channel. Nearly three dozen photos came in during the first two weeks, ranging from loosely coiled cables to obstructed emergency exits.

Most of these issues were minor and corrected within 24 hours. But safety officers say the real gain is behavioral: workers are now more apt to notice conditions they previously overlooked. The campaign will continue past June, with the reporting system staying active through the end of the quarter.
