Berlin – September 2024 – The 14th InnoTrans (Berlin International Rail Transportation Technology Exhibition) remains the world's largest rail industry event. With 2,900 exhibitors from 59 countries and nearly 200 Chinese companies in attendance, the scale was immense.
Most Chinese exhibitors focused on brand exposure. Changmei Technology had a different objective.
Leadership Team & Product Portfolio
Chairman Li Huiling, Chief Engineer Zhang Faming, and Deputy Technical Manager Chen Gang traveled to InnoTrans with a portfolio of high-value, patent-protected products:
• Polyurethane anti-vibration pads – the same technology that later delivered 95% vibration isolation efficiency and passed 10 million fatigue cycles with only 3% performance drift
• Broadband rail damping noise reducers
• Non-metallic fasteners for tram systems

The technical specifications were backed by precision manufacturing and a clear market positioning – no imitation products, no exaggerated claims.
Immediate Response & Real Orders
At InnoTrans, the response was immediate. Changmei signed letters of intent and purchase orders with distributors and rail operators from Germany, Spain, and Thailand. These were not casual handshake agreements but documented commercial commitments.
Why does the 2024 InnoTrans matter today? It served as Changmei's first export validation platform. The same microporous polyurethane technology – now protected by 16 invention patents and deployed in over 100 rail and building vibration isolation projects – earned its initial international recognition in Berlin.
Proven Performance in the Field
Fast forward to the present. That same polyurethane anti-vibration pad is now solving metro-induced noise problems just 10 meters from active rail lines. It delivers indoor background noise ≤30dB(A), meets NR-25 "silent grade" standards, and reduces construction time by 30-40% through modular roll-and-sheet installation.
