Broadband Vibration and Noise Damper for Rails

Compared to the Broadband Rail Damper and the Broadband Frequency Rail Vibration Absorber, Broadband Vibration and Noise Damper applies damping only to the rail web while still meeting the required vibration and noise reduction targets. Unlike other designs, it is not affected by the spacing of the fastening system. It can be installed continuously along the rail in the longitudinal direction. This approach maintains effective noise and vibration control while offering easier installation and better cost efficiency.

    Application

    The Broadband Rail Damper is used to control rail vibration and noise. By combining constrained layer damping with a phononic crystal structure and using a high-loss-factor damping material, it effectively addresses wheel-rail impact, rolling, and sliding vibrations and noise at the source. At the same time,  Broadband Vibration and Noise Damper increases the rail's vibration decay rate and helps control the initiation and progression of rail corrugation and other related defects.

    Production Capacity & Quality Assurance

    Our  Broadband Vibration and Noise Dampers are manufactured on a fully automated production line. The facility is capable of producing around 100,000 sets per year.
    Product sampling inspections are carried out at three stages: before production begins, during the manufacturing process, and after completion.
    All tests are performed in our own laboratory. The lab holds CNAS accreditation, so our test results are accepted under international standards.
    Lead time: 7 to 30 days, excluding design and mold development.
